Give the Gift of Education
During their trips to Juampas, CCHMP missionary teams have been introduced to
one-room school facilities in Loperon and Paredon, even more remote villages.
Subsequent CCHMP teams have collected and distributed supplies for these
schools which educate students of all ages.
In addition to school supplies, the teams also distribute clothing,
personal hygiene items and vitamins to the Loperon and Paredon students.
There is no public education in Haiti where the average annual income is $400. Parents must pay for their children to attend school. Education is a valuable commodity..
Several members of the mission teams have sponsored the education of children
and young adults they have met while in Haiti.
